SFG 9 10 0
WP - Sanchez (1-0) LP - De La Rosa (0-1)
HR: Giambi (1), Burrell (1), Ross (1), Beltran (1)
A very tight game through 6 and a half innings as broken wide open by the Giants ith 4 in the 7th and 3 in the 8th. AT&T's reputation is that of a pitcher's park, but don't tell the Giants who connected for 3 HR's. Cody Ross went 2/4 with a 2B, HR, 3 RBI and 2 Runs for San Fran. Jonathan Sanchez went 7 innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits while striking out 9.
Game #3
SFG 6 8 1
COL 1 6 2
WP - Cain (1-0) LP - Millwood (0-1)
HR: Huff 2 (2)
Matt Cain threw into the 8th before tiring, only giving up one run on 6 hits and 4 walks. Aubrey Huff accounted for everything that the Giants would need for the sweep by going 2 for 3, with 2 HR's and 5 RBI. Congrats to the Giants, and their manager John Lowe on their series win. --submitted by Tom Landers--
