The hometown fans were treated to a great Justin Masterson pitching performance. Masterson (7IP, 1ER, 10k's) dominated the A's bats. The Tribe scratched out solo runs in both the 1st and the 6th to hold off the A's, who finally scored on a Reddick sac fly in the 8th. J.Smith pitched a perfect 9th for the save.

GAME 2 - Oakland Coliseum
Jimenez vs Parker
A's 6, Indians 2
Brandon Moss went yard twice and knocked in 3 of Oakland's 6 runs. J.Parker gave up just 1 run in five innings of work and the bullpen did the rest. Brantley had a 3 for 4 day for the Tribe in a losing cause.
Series tied 1-1
GAME 3 - Oakland Coliseum
McAllister vs Milone
A's 5, Indians 3
Oakland got almost 6 innings out of young gun Milone. The pen was almost perfect the rest of the way. 4 huge runs in the bottom of the 4th by the A's put the Tribe in a deep hole. A 3 run jack by Cespedes was followed up by a solo shot from Brandon Moss (.583) who continued his hot hitting in the series.
A's win series 2-1
