Game 1 Philadelphia at Arizona

Halladay vs Cahill

The Phils survived the sweltering 99 degree desert heat to take a 1 game to 0 lead over the Diamondbacks. The game was tied at 4 after the 5th. Carlos "Chooch" Ruiz hit a 2 out, 2 run homer to break the tie and give Philly a 6-4 lead in the 8th. Jonathan Papelbon picked up the save.

Game 2 Arizona at Philadelphia

Miley vs Lee

Arizona jumped on Cliff Lee by scoring 2 runs in the 1st inning. Philly chipped away and tied the game in the 5th. Arizona took the lead for good on a John McDonald pinch hit solo home run off Lee. De Fratus and Horst held Philly scoreless in the 8th & 9th to give the Diamondbacks the 3-2 win and tie the series at 1-1.

Game 3 Arizona at Philadelphia

Kennedy vs Hamels

The game was close until Philly busted it open in the 6th with a 4 run outburst to take a 6-1 lead. Philly added 2 more in the 7th and closed out the series with a 8-1 win.
