#27 Twins upset #6 Braves in 3

GAME 1 - Turner Field
Diamond vs Medlen
Braves 5, Twins 1

Jason Heyward's 4 RBI day carried Atlanta to an easy victory.  Heyward had sac fly's in the 1st and 4th plus a 2 run shot in the second.  Martin Prado hit 3 consecutive triples in his first 3 at bats and scored easily thanks to Heyward's power.

GAME 2 - Target Field
Hudson vs Deduno
Twins 8, Braves 6

3 runs in the top of the 9th helped Atlanta make this one close, but in the end the Twins, who scored runs in all but 2 innings, hit themselves to victory.  Josh Willingham's 3 run blast in the 3rd wound up being the difference maker.  Twins starter Sam Deduno did a credible job (5IP, 2 ER), but almost lost his win thanks to a very shaky bullpen.

GAME 3 - Target Field
Minor vs Duensing
Twins 5, Braves 3

Down 3-1, the Braves needed a clutch 2 out / 2 run double by Brian McCann to tie the game up at 3-3.  The Twins answered right back with a clutch 2 out / 2 run single of their own by Ben Revere.  Minnesota's pen held firm over the final 2 innings for the upset series win.
