Underdog Houston had 1-0 lead into 5th when Happ started getting wild walking 4 of the first 5 Sox hitters and it came back to haunt him with 2 outs when Dunn singled home 2 to make it 3-1 Sox and they never looked back and won 7-1. Quintana gets the win striking out 7 walking 0 in 5.2 innings . Viciedo 3 walks, 3 runs scored. Pierzynski 3-run homer. Astors pitchers walked 10.

Game 2 Harrell vs Peavy
It was 3-2 Astros in bottom of 8th when the roof caved with 5 Sox runs... 3 coming on a Ramirez 3 -run blast. Pale hose hold on for a 7-5 win and 2-0 lead in 5 game set. De Aza continues to shine getting 3 hits, 2 of them doubles and scores 2. Storey with the loss, Crain win. Viciedo his 2nd homer of tourney. Schafer 3 sb's for Houston.

Game 3 Sale vs Rodriguez
The Houston pen gets the kudos for this 12 inning 3-2 Stros win pitching 5.1 of scoreless ball. De Aza 3 more hits now hitting .455 in tourney. Reed loss, Ambriz win.
Schafer wins game with bunt single, steal of 2nd, a balk by Reed and scored winning run on grounder to Ramirez whose throw was late to home. Astros stay alive.

Game 4 Floyd vs Norris
Gavin just didn't have it today lasting only 4 innings giving up 4 homers, 2 by F Martinez and 2 by Corporan. in a 8-1 Astros blowout tying the series. Schafer 2 more sb's. Norris CG, 0 walks , 5 hits.

Game 5 Happ vs Quintana
Sox get 4 in 2nd chasing Happ and Quintana wins 2nd game pitching 8 solid innings giving up only 1 run. Dunn homer, 3 rbi, Flowers 3 run homer..Sox squeak by Houston 3 games to 2.
